How it works
Daily energy is (Watts × Hours) ÷ 1000 kWh; daily cost is Energy × Rate. Weekly and monthly figures scale the daily cost by 7 and 30 respectively.
Example
An 800W appliance run 4 hours/day at a rate of 0.15/kWh costs about 0.48/day, roughly 3.36/week, and about 14.40/month.
Assumptions & limitations
We don't assume a fixed electricity rate for any country — enter your own rate from a recent bill. Standing charges and tiered pricing are not included.
