Sources

Generic calculators on this site (percentage, EMI, electricity cost, salary conversion, and similar) use standard mathematical formulas and don't rely on any external data source — you supply the numbers.

Country-specific calculators — covering local salary, tax or take-home pay rules — are built only from official government or statistical sources, such as national tax authorities and central statistics offices. Each country-specific calculator page states its source, the tax year or period it reflects, and any limitations, directly on that page.

We do not use unofficial, unverified or third-party estimates for tax or government-rule figures. If you spot a figure that looks outdated or incorrect, please tell us at hellomycalculator@gmail.com and we'll review it.

Note: All 8 planned country pages are now live. Each states its own scope and limitations directly on its page — most notably, several cover federal/national rules only (Canada excludes provincial tax; the US excludes state tax; Australia and Singapore don't model certain offsets and reliefs). Read each page's "Assumptions & limitations" section before relying on a result.
